PREVIEW: Spurs host in-form Palace

This weekend sees Tottenham face London rivals Crystal Palace at White Hart Lane.

Spurs, who overcame a scare in the Europa league as they went behind to Qarabag. but Spurs went on to win 3-1 thanks to Son who scored two and Lamela added the third.

Despite the win, Spurs will need to be at their best on Sunday as Palace are a stronger side than Qarabag, as Alan Pardew and his side continue to impress, with Pardew who was up for August manager of the month award, however, Palace don’t have the best record of London derbies only winning three of their last 19 London derbies although two of them victories have been under the management of Alan Pardew.

Spurs have a number of injuries ahead of the game with Eriksen and Dembele being joined by Dier and Mason on the treatment table, Bentaleb will definitely not be involved. Tom Carroll may start his first league game of the season after a good performance against Qarabag in the Europa league on Thursday, Pochettino rested a number of players in their midweek game Davis, Walker and Vertonghen all expected to come back into the side as they were given a rest against Qarabag.
