September: Goal of the month

After a pretty good month for Spurs fans, we here at ReadTottenham have decided to take a look at some of this months goals.

1) Mason V Sunderland – 13th September.

 Spurs had been kept quiet by a plucky Sunderland side when, in the closing stages of the game Spurs started to pass it around and after 15 passes Ryan Mason was played through and he coolly lifted it over Sunderland keeper Pantilimon.

2) Lamela V Qarabag – 17th September

 Qarabag had taken an early lead and fears of an upset were on the cards, but Spurs soon clicked into gear and eventually came out 3-1 winners in their opening Europa League tie. (Last goal of game)

3) Son V Crystal Palace – 20th September

 Son had managed to grab a brace on his home debut as they beat Qarabag, he was then rewarded with his premier league home debut and he managed to grab the winning goal, giving Spurs their first home league win of the season.

4) Dier V Manchester City – 26th September

Manchester City opened the scoring through Kevin De Bruyne but just before half-time, the ball fell perfectly to Dier who, from 25 yards smashed it in of the left-hand post and brought the game back to 1-1.

5) Lamela V Manchester City – 26th September

Erik Lamela rounded off a great game for Tottenham with the fourth and final goal for Spurs, calmly avoiding being tackled and also rounded the City keeper to top a great day for Tottenham.
