Real Madrid are monitoring Harry Kane as a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, according to the Telegraph.
Kane, who broke the record for the amount of goals scored in a calendar year by a Tottenham player in 2015, has scored 13 goals so far this season and has therefore attracted the interest of some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Real Madrid are one of the clubs interested in Kane, with Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at the Bernabeu in the balance with a reported move to Paris Saint Germain on the cards and Madrid will therefore want to replace Ronaldo with one of the best young talents in European football.

It’s not the first time Kane has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane, with Manchester United linked heavily with a move for him last summer after his initial breakthrough season at Tottenham.
However, there is no need for Tottenham to sell, as Kane signed a 5 and a 1/2 year contract last February which secured his future until 2020 with Daniel Levy keen to continue extracting the maximum value from players should Spurs decide to sell, as was the case with Luka Modric and Gareth Bale.
If Real Madrid did make an offer for Kane in the summer, it would test the loyalty of Kane who is a boyhood Spurs fan and is a Spurs academy graduate and his future could depend on wether Mauricio Pochettino’s side can secure Champions League football this season.
