A superb goal from Dele Alli, as well as a late goal from Nacer Chadli completed Tottenham’s comeback at Selhurst Park as they secured their grip on 4th place.
Spurs dominated early proceedings and should have created more, but ultimately in true Spurs style, they fell behind in the 30th minute when Jan Vertonghen deflected Zaha’s cross past Hugo Lloris into his own goal.
The score remained the same until the 63rd minute when Harry Kane scored his first goal from open play since the Boxing day victory over Norwich to bring Spurs level.
Despite Spurs dominance, the score would stay the same until the 84th minute, when Dele Alli scored one of the goals of the season to put Spurs ahead. After receiving the ball on the outside of the penalty area, he flicked it over the head of the Palace defender and volleyed past Hennessey in the Palace goal.

Alli was unlucky not to add to his total for the afternoon, when just a few minutes later, he crashed the ball against the crossbar. However, Nacer Chadli would add a third for Spurs when he cut in from the left and curled the ball in from 30 yards out.
The win means Spurs are now five points ahead of Manchester United who are in fifth place.
