Heung-Min Son has described his disappointment at seeing Spurs crash out of the FA Cup, but insists that Spurs must now focus their attention on the Europa League tie against Fiorentina on Thursday night.
Tottenham crashed out of the FA Cup following a disappointing display against Crystal Palace. Despite Spurs fielding a much-changed line-up, they were expected to progress against a Palace side who have been in struggling in the Premier League recently.

However, a Martin Kelly goal deep in first-half stoppage time was enough to secure Palace’s passage through and end Tottenham’s hopes of a first FA Cup trophy since 1991.
Son, speaking to the Evening Standard after the game, was insistant that Spurs must now turn their attention to the two competitions they are still involved in, starting with Thursday’s game against Fiorentina.
He said:
“We are angry, I am angry,
“We have to concentrate on the Europa League and the Premier League. It’s very exciting and we have to win this game.
“Fiorentina are a very good team but we have three days until we play them and we can be really focused and relaxed.”
After facing Fiorentina on Thursday, Spurs face Swansea at home followed by the North London derby against Arsenal the following week.
