A fantastic second half comeback from Spurs saw them move three points clear of Arsenal and move within two points of league leaders Leicester.
Spurs dominated proceedings throughout, but it was the visiting Swans who struck the first blow when Paloschi fired home after a well-worked short corner from the Premier League strugglers.
Spurs went into the break behind and despite peppering the Swansea goal with shots, they failed to find a way through with Lukas Fabianski in fine form.
However, Swansea resistance was eventually broken when substitute Nacer Chadli deflected Kyle Walker’s low drive past Fabianski to bring Spurs level.
As the noise levels increased at White Hart Lane, Spurs continued to probe for a late winner and eventually got one. It was to be Danny Rose who scored the late winner, after a corner was only partially cleared by Swansea and fell to Danny Rose on the edge of the box who drilled the ball into the back of the Swansea net.
The result means that Spurs have now on their last six consecutive league games and move three points clear of North London rivals Arsenal, ahead of the North London derby next weekend.
