Player Ratings: Arsenal (H)

A pulsating 2-2 draw was not a result either Tottenham or Arsenal wanted as they aim to claw back the deficit to Leicester.

In truth, it was a game that Spurs should have won, especially after Coquelin saw red after his second yellow card for a wild lunge on Harry Kane in the second half.

However, it was not to be Tottenham’s day, despite going 2-1 up thanks to Harry Kane’s fantastic strike half way through the second half.

As Spurs become more and more defensive as the minutes ticked on, despite the visitors being down to 10 men, it became only a matter of time before Arsenal equalized and they did through Alexis Sanchez. Ultimately, Hugo Lloris should have saved the Chilean’s shot, but Spurs should never have become so defensive against 10 men in the first place.
