Benjamin Henrichs on Spurs’ radar as Walker replacement

Bayer Leverkusen defender Benjamin Henrichs could be the man to replace Kyle Walker at Tottenham, according to Bleacher Report.

The report suggests that Spurs are looking to Leverkusen’s Henrichs with England international Walker likely to depart for Manchester City.

Spurs were said to be impressed with the player when the two sides met in the Champions League and have been keeping tabs on the player ever since.

The 20-year-old, who has already been capped by Germany, is a versatile defender, he is able to play at both left back, right back and can also feature in midfield.

He had signed a new deal with the Bundesliga club back in May but the report suggests that he could be tempted by a move away.

Tottenham are demanding £50 million for Walker to leave for Manchester City, so Mauricio Pochettino, who has become known for handing chances to younger players, will have money to spend at White Hart Lane.
