Tottenham expect Alli to sign new deal

Tottenham are confident of Dele Alli signing a new contract with the club, according to The Telegraph.

The report claims that Alli is expected to put pen to paper on a new deal with Spurs, despite the fact that he is changing his agent at the end of the season.

The Telegraph also claim that a number of top clubs in Europe are eyeing up the attacking midfielder, making a new contract a priority for Spurs.

Alli is currently earning £50k-per-week and Tottenham are ready to give him a £30k pay rise, which would take him above Christian Eriksen in the wage structure.

Top scorer Harry Kane – who scored the winner for England against Slovenia on Thursday – is the club’s highest earner. Kane earns around £100k-per-week.

The England international has scored two goals this season, and is currently serving a suspension for allegedly putting his middle finger up to a referee during a game for his country.
