Tottenham keen to sign West Ham’s Lanzini

Mauricio Pochettino is keen for Tottenham to sign West Ham playmaker Manuel Lanzini, as per a report from the Mirror.

The Spurs boss could look to sanction a move for his fellow countryman in a bid to provide more competition in the final third.

Everton were interested in signing the player during the summer transfer window but had an enquiry turned down by the Hammers.

Liverpool have also been keeping tabs on the player for some time, citing Lanzini as a possible replacement for Philippe Coutinho, who continues to be linked with a big-money move to Barcelona.

Pochettino is said to have been watching the player ever since he scored against Tottenham two years ago at White Hart Lane.

The news will come as a blow to new Hammers manager David Moyes, who will be looking to keep hold of his best players during the January transfer window.
