Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld is closing in on a move to join Manchester United.
According to The Mirror, the club are set to complete a deal to sign Alderweireld in the next 48 hours.
The report claims that United are set to pay £60m for the Belgium international defender.
Alderweireld has been linked with a move to United throughout the summer and now looks set to finally seal the deal.
The central defender failed to agree a new contract at Tottenham, leaving the club with a decision to make over his future.
They had placed a £75m price tag on his head, however they have now lowered their demands to £60m in order to move him on before the end of the window.
Manchester United had been linked with a £60m move for Leicester defender Harry Maguire, but looks set to cool their interest after sealing the deal for Alderweireld.
