Tottenham travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea in a Premier League clash that could confirm their survival.

After being hailed as favourites for relegation about a month and a half ago, the North London outfit have turned a corner under Roberto De Zerbi.

Tottenham are unbeaten in their last four Premier League games and can mathematically secure their Premier League status later today if they get all three points.

Chelsea, on the other hand, have endured a torrid season, with Enzo Maresca and Liam Rosenior losing their jobs.

This is Calum McFarlane’s second interim stint in charge of the club, having previously also taken over the reins after Maresca’s dismissal.

Xabi Alonso will take over at Stamford Bridge from next season, so the Blues will look to see off their remaining two games as successfully as possible before the dawn of a new era.

Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur – team news

Levi Colwill is still working his way back up to full fitness after a long injury absence and is a doubt for the game tonight.

Romeo Lavia, on the other hand, missed the FA Cup final against Manchester City and is unlikely to be fit to face Tottenham Hotspur.

The likes of Mamadou Sarr and Benoit Badiashille haven’t featured in recent weeks, but McFarlane confirmed that the pair could get some minutes before the end of the season.

As for Tottenham, Roberto De Zerbi confirmed that Gugliemo Vicario is back to full fitness after recovering from hernia surgery.

Dominic Solanke is ruled out but could be back for the clash against Everton.

As for Cristian Romero, the Argentine is back on the grass but is unlikely to feature for Tottenham, with one eye on the 2026 FIFA World Cup with Argentina.

Tottenham Hotspur to finally win at Stamford Bridge

Tottenham have just one win from 33 Premier League visits to Stamford Bridge over the years, which came in 2018 under Mauricio Pochettino.

However, they have looked quite solid under De Zerbi in recent weeks, while Chelsea, on the other hand, have continued to struggle.

Tottenham can secure Premier League safety with a win today, which would confirm West Ham United’s relegation to the EFL Championship.

Considering recent form and the stakes involved, we feel Tottenham will get all three points and mathematically secure their Premier League status today.

Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Chelsea
