Tottenham Hotspur have been forced to release their away kit ten days earlier than originally planed due to a mistake being made in America where the shirt was put on sale by accident.

A number of American fans got their hands on the snazzy away shirt as a sports shop in Foxboro, MA put the new shirt on the shop floor before the official release date.

Spurs reacted quickly and announced the kit release just hours later on their Twitter account after the image below spread like wildfire on social media.

One lucky Spurs fan to get his hands on the jersey was Branden (Twitter: @superduperkewl ). The American fan said exclusively to Read Tottenham, “I think it’s absolute class. The horizontal stripes can make a more portly man look like a globe but it looks great when you put it on.”
